I have a 1000 dollars invest what are some good penny stock/stocks to invest in?
Iam new to investing and not really sure where to start i was thinking of putting 1000 dollars into Sharper image which was at 15 cents per share then went up to 23 per share today. If this is not a good investment what are some good investments like penny stocks or where should i start. also could you give me the symbol of some good investment stocks to maybe look up.

First off – avoid penny stocks, unless you want to lose your entire investment. Either the company is in bankruptcy and their stock will soon be worthless (i.e. Sharper Image), or the company stock is part of the pump and dump penny stock world, where a penny stock broker plays up a worthless company only to sell their holdings when the public bids up the price
Try to find a company that has had it’s stock price reduced but that has a good chance of a rebound. Yahoo Finance or The Motley Fool may be able to help.

Undervalued vs. Cheap, which is better? Penny Stocks are by nature cheap yet there are those who want to find the cheapest and most undervalued penny stocks they can find to maximize their investment even more. To cut to the chase, it’s definitely better to search for the most undervalued penny stock rather than the cheapest. Cheap doesn’t mean that that stock will soon skyrocket. Undervalued means look out because this stock will soon realize its actual value.
